First year: The hairdressing course provided full time (formal training), receiving both theory and practical training during this time. The candidate may start working at a hair salon on Fridays or weekends for practical experience.
Second year: Candidates work in a hair salon (informal training hours) to gain required practical experience, earning a small salary, while completing formal college training at THASA.

THASA is an international City & Guilds exam centre, allowing our students to obtain an additional international qualification at the same time. Our candidates may enter the additional international exam (exam fees apply) towards the end of the 1st year.
