International qualification

A program styled for you

You can complete an international hairdressing qualification at THASA.

This course is first choice for candidates wanting to work on cruise ships and abroad.

The National Trade test may be entered through a Recognition of Prior Learning (ARPL) application process.

Learning method

The hairdressing course provided full-time (formal training), receiving both theory and practical training during this time. The candidate may start working at a hair salon on Fridays or weekends for practical experience in their 1st year.

Assessment

Continuous assessment takes place during the year, at the Academy. Summative Assessment: THASA is an international accredited exam centre. Students who are found to be ready, may enter the summative practical exam.

Short course: Barbering

This is a skilled course that will enable learners to perform a barbering service in the form of gents hair cutting and fading, hot towel treatment and shaving service.
